Disctilldawn party crowd celebrating

DJ, Photo Booth & Party Hire in Berkshire

RG1–RG42 · SL1–SL6 — disco DJs, photo booths, light-up letters and full party packages across Berkshire.

Berkshire Coverage

From the Thames Valley tech corridor to the Royal heritage of Windsor

Berkshire is one of our most-worked counties outside London. The Thames Valley corridor — Reading, Maidenhead, Slough and Wokingham — is dense with corporate offices, modern wedding venues and 21st-birthday-aged crowds, so we DJ a steady mix of company awards nights, milestone birthdays and weekend weddings throughout the year. The royal-heritage end of the county around Windsor, Ascot and Eton has its own character: country-house weddings, summer marquee parties and prestige corporate hospitality.

Hayes to anywhere in Berkshire is M4 the whole way — Slough is 20 minutes, Maidenhead 30, Reading 45 — so we don’t add travel surcharges to RG or SL postcodes. Our full service catalogue is available across every Berkshire postcode: classic and premium disco hire, magic mirror, 360 booth, selfie pod and classic photo booth, 4ft light-up letters and numbers, audio guestbook, starlit dance floors and event lighting.

Venues We’ve Played

Berkshire Venues

Real Berkshire venues we’ve worked at or regularly cover include Coworth Park (Ascot), the Royal Berkshire Hotel in Sunninghill, The Vineyard at Stockcross near Newbury, Donnington Valley Hotel, Bisham Abbey on the Thames, Hennerton Golf Club in Wargrave, the Macdonald Berystede, and a wide range of cricket clubs, golf clubs and country pubs throughout the county. Reading’s hotel cluster around the M4 J11 (Hilton, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza Caversham) sees us regularly for corporate awards nights and milestone birthday parties.

If you’re booking a marquee at a private residence in Berkshire we’ll always carry out a site recce ahead of the event — we know the typical Berkshire wedding marquee layout (Hampshire side of Newbury, Kintbury, Stockcross) and we’ll bring the right rig for the room size.

Travel & Logistics

Travel into Berkshire

We’re Hayes-based (UB4), which puts the whole of Berkshire on a straight M4 run. Typical drive times: Slough 20 minutes, Maidenhead 30, Windsor 30, Wokingham 45, Reading 45, Bracknell 50, Newbury 60. There’s no travel surcharge to any Berkshire postcode — the quote you see is the price you pay.

For guests, the Elizabeth Line now reaches Reading from central London and Heathrow, GWR mainline serves Slough, Maidenhead and Reading every few minutes, and the M4 connects the whole corridor. If your venue is rural Berkshire (Hungerford, Lambourn, west of Newbury) we’ll always confirm road access and parking with the venue manager a week ahead.

Why Book Us

Why Choose Disctilldawn in Berkshire

Berkshire crowds vary enormously by area. A Thames Valley corporate awards night at a Reading or Slough hotel calls for tight, polished DJing across pop and chart hits with clean PA tuning for speeches. A country-house wedding in Ascot or Newbury wants a smoother arrival set, a confident first-dance handle and an evening set that builds from soul and disco through to current chart-toppers. A school prom in Wokingham or Crowthorne wants high-energy throughout. We arrive prepared for the brief and read every room in real time.

Every booking includes £5m public liability cover and current PAT certificates — many Berkshire wedding venues, golf clubs and corporate sites will ask to see both before the event, and we can email them direct to your venue’s events team during office hours.

Frequently Asked

Berkshire Booking Questions

1Do you cover the whole of Berkshire?
Yes — we cover all Berkshire postcodes (RG1 through RG42, plus SL1–SL6) at no travel surcharge from our Hayes base. That includes Reading, Slough, Maidenhead, Windsor, Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot, Newbury, Hungerford and every village in between.
2Can you DJ at outdoor and marquee events in Berkshire?
Yes — we DJ regularly at Berkshire marquee weddings, especially around Newbury, Stockcross, Kintbury, the Pang Valley and along the Thames around Maidenhead and Henley. We need access to a mains supply within 3 metres of the performance area and a hard, level floor or stage; we’ll always do a site recce a week in advance for marquees.
3How far in advance should I book?
Berkshire weekends fill up early. Most Berkshire weddings book us 9–12 months ahead, and Saturdays in May–September are typically gone by January. Corporate awards nights and milestone birthdays usually book 3–6 months out. If your date is sooner, get in touch — we sometimes have last-minute Friday or Sunday availability.
4Do you have venue references in Berkshire?
Yes — we can supply a venue reference list on request, naming venues we’ve worked at recently. If your booking is at a specific Berkshire wedding venue we’ll happily mention previous bookings there during the quoting call so you can ask the venue directly.
5Are you fully insured for Berkshire venues?
Yes — we carry £5m public liability insurance and current PAT certificates on every piece of equipment. Most Berkshire wedding venues, golf clubs, cricket clubs and corporate sites will ask for both documents before your booking. We can email them straight to your venue’s events team during office hours and we list them on our Certificates page.
